The provider showed different pricing by location:
- CPX12 in Singapore: €15.49 a month, versus €11.49 in Germany
- CPX22 in Singapore: €26.49, versus €19.49
- CPX11 (2 vCPU, 2 GB, 40 GB) in Ashburn or Hillsboro: €17.49
- CPX21 (3 vCPU, 4 GB, 80 GB) in the US: €31.99

Costs beyond the server price
- IPv4 address. A public IPv4 address costs €0.50 a month extra. IPv6-only may not work for every service or visitor.
- Traffic. EU servers include at least 20 TB a month. US servers include about 1 TB, and Singapore less. Check the provider’s current overage rates for the selected location.
- VAT. Prices above exclude VAT. EU customers without a VAT ID may pay their local rate on top.
- Backups and snapshots are paid add-ons.
Billing
Hetzner Cloud bills by the hour with a monthly cap. A stopped server continues to be billed until it is deleted, so remove test servers you no longer need.
Matching a plan to a workload
- CPX02: a tiny site, monitor or single-user VPN. 1 GB may be limiting for Docker plus a database.
- CPX12: a small WordPress site or app with a database.
- CPX22: several small sites, staging or internal tools.
- CPX32 and up: consider dedicated-vCPU CCX plans too if predictable CPU capacity matters. CCX13 in Germany starts from €42.99 a month.

Promotional budget VPS offers can cost less at the smallest sizes. Hetzner’s listed cloud features include hourly billing, an API, firewalls, load balancers and snapshots. Compare the features, location and total add-on costs against the requirements of your project.
